DCCR Research Nurse awarded RCSI Dean’s Award 2013

Deirdre Hyland of RCSI has been named as recipient of this year’s RCSI Support Award one of the Dean’s Awards awarded annually by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at RCSI. The announcement was made at the annual Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Dinner which took place on Friday 18th October.

Deirdre is a Research Nurse at the RCSI Clinical Research Centre in Beaumont Hospital and an active member of the Dublin Centre for Clinical Research Network a clinical research collaboration between TCD UCD RCSI Molecular Medicine Ireland and the associated Dublin area teaching hospitals funded by the Wellcome Trust and the Health Research Board. She is also Co-ordinator of the Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing (Clinical Research).

 

The Dean’s Award scheme was created as a way of acknowledging the diverse and essential contributions of all staff members at RCSI. Deirdre was presented with the award by Professor Hannah McGee Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
