Clinical & Translational Research Scholars Programme
The MMI Clinical & Translational Research Scholars Programme (CTRSP) was a structured 4-year PhD programme for science graduates, with the objective of developing disease-focused researchers able to bridge gaps between basic scientists, clinical scientists and industry.
Education & Training Annual Scientific Meetings
Over 110 people gathered in the Science Gallery, Dublin on 24 March 2015 for presentations from Clinical & Translational Research Scholars, Clinician Scientist Fellowship Programme Alumni and the wider research community. Areas covered included innovative research in cancers, rheumatoid arthritis, kidney disease, hepatitis C infection, lung disease, diabetes complications, perinatal disease, and central nervous system disorders. Keynote Addresses were from Professor Chris Chamberlain (UCB Pharma) and Professor Sir Gordon Duff (St Hilda's College, Oxford).
